Diaspora East Youth Choir

Welcome to the DEYC Choir! This programme offers over 20 talented young singers, recruited through school projects, a gateway into the professional music industry. Participants benefit from year-round weekly sessions, as well as weekend and holiday camps, where they receive expert training in vocal technique, songwriting, and performance skills. They also have the opportunity to record music and perform at live events. Our focus is on genres like Afrobeat, Afroswing, R&B, and other popular styles rooted in the African diaspora.
